Our Mission

HUMANICEMOS DH is a Civil Humanitarian Demining Organization, created under the Peace Agreement between the Colombian government and the FARC-EP, which fosters life and environmental sustainability.

It is composed by people who are in process of economic and social reincorporation, who perfectly know the living conditions of the communities and their environment.

Leadership and Loyalty

We are a structured and autonomous Humanitarian Demining Organization, consolidated and proven in its administrative and operational capacity.

Transparency and Relevance

Our mission includes working for the benefit of the communities and developing economic and social activities in the territories.

Responsibility and Discipline

We establish and implement a comprehensive training plan for the personnel of HUMANICEMOS DH, in order for them to grow at the personal and organizational level.

Cooperation and Teamwork

Our policy includes the strengthening of relationships with national and international actors in the sector, building lasting strategic alliances

Security and Efficiency

Through our educational activities, we contribute to safe behavior in the communities when dealing with the threat of antipersonnel mines.

Inclusion and Tolerance

We create jobs for members of the community in process of reincorporation into the economic and social life of the country.

Integrity and Equity

Equal pay for men and women; equity to occupy decision-making positions. Our goal for 2020 is for 30% of our personnel to be women.

Our History

HUMANICEMOS DH is a Civil Organization of Humanitarian Demining, created under the Peace Agreement between the Colombian Government and the FARC-EP. It is unique in its kind, since it is made up of people in the process of economic and social reincorporation, who perfectly know the living conditions of the communities and their environment. In this way, it directly helps in the creation of jobs for members of the community in the process of reincorporation into the economic and social life of the country. The personnel of HUMANICEMOS DH is permanently trained, which allows personal and organizational growth through the acquisition of knowledge in a multidimensional perspective.
